How does multitrack export work?
For a supported multitrack FCP7 XML or AAF, multiple video layers become separate EDLs with a track map; supported audio is included. Source timecodes, record positions and gaps are preserved. Audio is preserved by default; unsupported audio structures block export.
Which formats are supported?
EDL Toolbox reads CMX-style EDL, FCP7 XML, basic FCPXML and cut-only AAF interchange. Conversions support cut-only timelines from 23.976 through 60 fps, including 29.97 and 59.94 DF. Read the Guides for timing conventions and open Formats for current limitations.
Do I need to install anything?
No. The tools run in your browser. Your edit-list files are processed locally and are not uploaded to a server.
